One PDF only. This browser-only version supports files up to 40MB and up to 120 pages.
All processing stays local in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
Current Scope
This version is limited to visible page number overlays for one PDF: add page numbers across a continuous page range and export one new PDF.
It is not a full PDF editor and does not support arbitrary header/footer text, live preview, free-form page range parsing, automatic collision avoidance, existing page-number detection, or metadata page labels.
This version writes only Arabic numerals with ASCII separators and works best with regular, unencrypted PDFs that have a normal structure. Existing content near the page edges may still be covered.

Start numbering from physical page N.
Leave blank to continue through the document end.
Must be a positive integer. If it exceeds the current safe limit of 9007199254740872, it is clamped to that limit on blur.
Page Number Style
In `1 / N`, the N is the last page number in the current numbering sequence, not the total PDF page count.
Position Preset
Position semantics follow the visible page edges seen in the PDF reader. Rotated pages are recalculated in that visual direction.
This version uses a fixed dark text color and a standard font. Custom fonts, color picking, opacity, and automatic collision avoidance are not included.
Changing the filename affects only the download name. It does not mark the tool as dirty or change the current numbering settings.
New PDF Ready
Download immediately, or rename the file before downloading. Any result-affecting setting change invalidates the previous result immediately.
